The trees we planted in December ‘08 are part-way through their first dry season and doing well! Their resilience is amazing – check out the ones that, after being munched by bugs or sun, resprouted new shoots from their bases. Go nature! Can’t wait to see them hit a growth spurt this rainy season… That’s also when we will be able to see if any of them don’t make it, in which case they will be replaced.
