DOUGLASS SIMS - Director

Douglass Sims is an attorney who specializes in energy and sustainability issues.  For the past 8 years, Douglass has worked as a project finance specialist at Allen & Overy LLP, a leading international law firm.  During that time, Douglass worked on infrastructure and energy projects, primarily in Latin America and Africa.  His also a partner in BlackTartan LLC, a media company developing projects in support of the protection of the Amazon region and its cultures.


JOÃO AMORIM - Secretary, Co-Founder

filmmaker, industrial designer, permaculture enthusiast trained at Cal-Earth in super-adobe construction, BS in Transportation Design from Art Center College of Design; Bioconstruindo (Bioconstruction) 2009 program participant

 

HEATHER GREER - Director

Heather Greer is an award-winning videographer, multimedia artist, and adjunct professor at the Interactive Telecommunications Programs at the Tisch School of the Arts. Her work spans installations as well as other works in documentary and feature film, mixed media, animation and theater. On a humanitarian and media education level, Heather has worked in several countries including Rwanda, Malawi, Mali and Bangladesh.


LEWIS KOFSKY - Vice-Chair, Treasurer, Co-Founder

partner at Curious Pictures New York, where he guides all technology and produces projects ranging from video games to socially-conscious documentaries; Stanford trained in design engineering and appropriate technology; trained at SUNY Ulster in edible forest gardens; NABCEP certified; Bioconstruindo (Bioconstruction) 2009 program participant
